In this large canvas, the tide is the subject. Waves break, and then rush out to reform, only to crash again on this rocky shore on Phillip Island.
I have two versions of these rocks on Philippe Island in Victoria. The one shown here is done in acrylic paint on canvas. The other is a much smaller watercolour.
