This is the largest study I did of the famous Rock when we visited the Red Centre just before we left Australia to live in France. Uluru has an overwhelming effect on the visitor and this has remained with me many years afterwards.
The massive rock, which constantly changes colour, dominates the landscape like a steep-sided island in a blood red sea.
